Jack & the Beanstalk

14 - 17 February 2012

Jubilee Centre, Mildenhall

Directed by Bobby Mather

Musical Director Ken Newman

The Bunbury Players are delighted to be back with another fun-filled traditional family pantomime.

Jack and the Beanstalk by Alan P Frayn, is one of the best loved and oldest pantos of all time. With fantastic characters - the wonderful cow, Buttercup, Simple Simon and his brother Jack, both a good fairy and an evil witch, two daft broker’s men, an outrageous dame, a smelly villain, the king and queen with their snooty equerry, a beautiful princess and, of course a very, very, very big giant (Fe, fi, fo, fum!).

Dreamer Jack sells his cow Buttercup for a handful of beans which, once planted, grow into a beanstalk taking him up to the kingdom of the giant, Buster Gut-Bucket.

With some lively song and dance numbers, great comedy, with a brilliant bakery slapstick scene, and an enthusiastic cast, this is going to be a family pantomime not to be missed!
